What to do with scraps of yarn

I keep my scraps or left overs from projects to make hats.  It is surprising how pretty these hats turn out.   All hats are donated to a non-profit organization in our area for distribution in the winter to needy children.  This is a great project to do to get rid of the scraps and do something nice for your community.

That is great that you don't throw out the small balls and you find good use for them.

It depends how much is leftover.  If it's very little I will throw them out.  I had to clean up my yarn bin as it was overflowing

I use mine to add onto a blanket that I have been making for over 8 years.

What about making either a washcloth or a pom pom depending on how much is leftover.
