On holiday?

If you go on holiday, what do you take with you certainly do without?
For example a book, your stitchingwork or something else.

I used to take crafts with me when I traveled, but I never had time to do any.  lol  I cant work in a vehicle because it makes me carsick.  Once I get to where I am going, I am too busy wrangling children or spending time with family.  The most I could probably bring is a book, but I doubt Id even be able to read a paragraph!
