Problems uploading PDF and jpegs UNDER 10MB

Ive been having problems uploading photos and patterns.
Im trying to upload a 1.54 MB PDF (limit is 10MB) and get a message saying its over the limit.  Its 8.46MB UNDER the maximum size.  
For photos,  jpg, jpeg, gif, png are allowed.  My photo is a 149 kb jpg but its not accepting it.
Ive been uploading without a problem for a few months but lately Ive been having one problem after another.  


Is it me or are others experiencing the same problems?

I havent experienced this and I just uploaded something a day or so ago.  Perhaps the site isnt fully functional for everyone since it went down.  Im hoping a mod will read this and be able to assist you :-)

I just tried to upload a photo and pattern and had the same problem.

I post a photo of my work, must make him smaller, and he was accepted.

I post a photo of my work, must make him smaller, and he was accepted.

At 149KB its pretty small already.  The limit is 10MB so it shouldnt be a problem.  I know the site was/is being upgraded so I think it must be some glitch related to that.

When I tried to add a file to a new post, the type of files said custom files and when I change it to all files, it will let me click on a file to add it, but then I would get an error message saying that that type of file is not permitted.  I only got as far as trying to add a .jpg file.

check with the moderators. sometimes it gets out of whack
