Best way to break up large pdf files?

Interesting you mention Knit Picks because just this evening I was trying to reduce a 15 mg file of theirs to under 10 mg so I dont have to split the file.  I wasnt successful :-(  It usually works for me but not this time.  I optimized it and then resized it with the free pdf resizer online.  I really dont want to post multiple files but I dont think Ill be able to upload unless I do.  I even tried zipping the file AFTER both optimizing and resizing - still came out to 10.1 mg and I dont think theyll allow even that slight bit over - I could try it, I guess the worst that could happen is I cant upload.  If you come up with a way to resize without many multiple files please let us know.

You can use an online site called smallpdf to resize a file but you cannot resize more than two files. You need to wait a while to resize the third one. Whenever I need, I use a proxy to resize more than 2 files there. ;P  The text wont be blurry. If I use Adobe Acrobat Pro to resize a file, it may be blurry sometimes.
