Pattern Corrections

If I receive a correction or update for a pattern Ive already uploaded is there a way to edit my original thread to replace the old attached file with the new updated/corrected one?

I hope you receive an answer as Ive wondered that myself.  Sometimes they include errata on a website but I dont know how to get it here so everyone who has downloaded can have the corrected version.

Apparently only a moderator can correct/update a pattern.  I wonder if I should try to contact the same person who moderated the pattern when I first posted it?
