Well, theyre not "real" names (at least I think most people would not use their real names and would choose a nickname???). Also, I find the payments log extremely helpful. I sometimes forget what Ive purchased and purchased the item twice! Guess I really liked those patterns! I know I can find the information about my previous purchases but it can be quite a lengthy process since there doesnt seem to be a search function on your own purchases. As for posting something like this to Facebook, I use my real name on Facebook so I wouldnt post this site or any other for that matter. I would recommend the site privately to people I know and trust though (which I have done and a few have joined). Perhaps a link you could send someone that would in turn tell the site you recommended them and credit appropriately if they join? I know some sites do that already. Some sites you cant join unless you have a recommendation by a current member in good standing. Im very pleased with this site and was aware my user ID/login would show which is why its not my real name. Perhaps that could be part of the sign up process - they could tell people the user ID/Login name will show so choose wisely. Just my opinion. They do a pretty good job of keeping the site running smoothly and Im sure many of have what we think are good ideas but perhaps there are reasons they are not on the site. |
