The site is extremely weird right now..Its as though I am looking at the authors posts only area.Someone probably asked this but, why cant we make gold coins?

what do you mean make gold coins?  We make coins every time we comment on someones work. Sometimes this site goes wacky:), but they fix it.

I dont get the gold coins for logging in or commenting. When I could actually see the posts as they used to be I have commented and did not receive any coins. Now all I see is a single column of thumb nails and have not tried to open one. As I said, it looks as though I am looking at the back office" so to speak, not the format of the usual site at all.at the end of this comment there is no coffee cup so I will click on reply post, since it the only thing there TO click on.

Now there are no thumb nails at all, only words. When I clicked on a pattern name on the home page it, of course took me to the pattern page and there was no picture at all...only the price of the pattern.
