i prefer frixion pens which come out with heat and i keep a small hairdryer at my desk so i can make small marks etc and remove as i go

I use a very fine-tipped water-soluble marker and it marks very well.

Someone else suggested using Frixion pans, I would not recommend because they don't wash out and they don't always stay invisible.
