decrease the picture then tell me if that works. I use Photoshop and decrease it to 10cm width

this still didnt work unfortunately. picture is a 2 mb .png (which it says is one of the allowed filetypes) and i cant crop it any smaller because then you cant see the whole pattern :( i really want to contribute to the site it still gives the same error, ill repeat it here because it was a while ago:

This might be a dumb question but if I upload my own work in the diary section, is there a particular way I should link the pattern / give credit to the original pattern author?

Thank you, exactly what I was looking for. I cant upload an image though, only the pattern file. It keeps saying "Internal Server Error". Anything I can do about that?
