Never use my phone to access anything that I dont want other people to see - no banking, no apps that have access to anything.  Phone is strictly for communication.  Wouldnt use my laptop to visit this site if I were on a public Wi-FI either - only my own Desktop at home.

I agree. I dont want Google to know what sites Im using & vice versa

I dont see the point of it, is it asking for Google account access?  If so thats hardly making it more secure in my opinion.  Its just handing over more personal information than you need to join and use the site.
