This is how credits are calculated:

Posts×0.1 + Threads×0.26 + Digests×5 + Online Time (h)/1.5

You need 10 posts (aka replies) or 4 new threads to actively gain one credit, or you need to browse for half an hour (like searching, interacting, etc., it's not enough to just open the page and leave it like that, in the background, overnight) for passively gain one credit. I did not mention digests, because tho they exist, they are very rare (explained here in detail).

Oh dear, I'd noticed that info in my page but I was not certain of what it meant..
