I have been a member for a long time, and while these are the max prices a person CAN set doesn't mean it smart to do so. This isn't really about how much the any pattern is worth real currency, but of how of what is the sweet spot for generating the most downloads for that particular pattern. So setting if a price of 50GC might get you 50 downloads = 2500 GC, but 150 only gets you 10 = 1500 GC, you end up with less in the long run. For people in the lower evels of membership, 150 GC can be priced out of their range, and they will opt for the more affordable options. |
