Question about Charges

Ive uploaded a few patterns, and the charges are always removed, I wasnt able to send pm to moderater as I was only DIY. 0.
Then I edit it etc. I didnt know you couldnt edit it. I apologise for that but why are the charges being removed?

Also there was four parts to one pattern and the file with the actual written instructions was not there after moderation? So I feel like just not uploading patterns to be honest, when the charge is taken away and some other people are asking for 300+ for theirs

Please make sure youre setting the price at the attachment window. If youre setting a price at the bottom, youre setting a price for viewing that thread, which is not permitted, so itll be removed. The maximum price you can set is 150 GC, as youre DIY1. If you set a higher price, the system might not register it, so itll appear as you havent set a price at all. Other than that, I assure you, the moderators are not permitted to remove the price youve set for the attachment (it could be changed in case its a free pattern without any further notice). Also, make sure you upload all attachments one by one, so no parts will get lost. A neat trick is to click on the attachments name in the uploading window. That will embed the link for the attachment in the body of the thread. If the attachment didnt get uploaded, you wont be able to do it, so thats a good indicator. You go back to edit your thread, but make sure youre doing it before it passes moderation. If youre doing it after, it can cause an error, so the thread can disappear. When youre editing, try not to touch the attachments if you dont absolutely have to. In case youre changing anything in the attachment or image window, please make sure you close the window first (with the X button), and use the save button, because if you skip either, theres a chance the changes youve made wont get saved, or the files get lost.

I was adding it to the attachment, then I thought it was wrong because when the pattern was moderated there was no price, then I put it at the bottom and thats big no no then I done another edit and took that away and ended up only charging 50 for it

I see. If you are sure youve put the right price and the system didnt display it or changes it when it shouldnt (like from 150 to 50), please report it here, because it could be a new bug. Unfortunately, we keep discovering new ones, and reporting them in a timely manner helps to fix them sooner.
Now you can send a PM, so if you can give a notice to one of the moderators too, to fix the price. But dont try to edit it after it got moderated, because I cant emphasize it, that can obliterate the thread, and were not always able to bring it back.
