download & buy price?

Can anyone explain the difference? and why thre is a difference in price from download & buy? thanks

Each attachment in a posting costs 30 gold coins. This amount goes to the site.  Members who upload can charge additional gold coins, 70% of which goes to them and a 30% "tax" goes to the site.

The download price is the price for the pattern,70 % of it goes to the uploader,the rest to the site,the buy price extra and goes to the site.
