coins?

hello everyone! i am new here. i found this website when searching reddit for crochet patterns... my question is how do you earn coins for "free" patterns?? seems a bit confusing that you need to pay for the patterns on here when you could go to the designer instead and pay them? or is this just a digital currency used soley for patterns? thanks in advance! and sorry for the noob question lol

When you have enough coins you can " buy" patterns.

i am new also...welcome to the group...i have asked a lot of questions and got some nice tips and replys ...i almost feel guilty to ask the questions cause i had a few tell me i was spamming but the way i look at it is how are we going to learn if we dont ask...i have uploaded a few patterns and commented on patterns and i do the daily signin stuff  etc i was quite surprise how fast they add up ...again welcome to the group

thanks everyone. :) very helpful. is there any particular way to upload patterns? do you get more coin if you upload them when someone requests a particular one you have or is it just straight 20 coin? i see “bounties” but i don’t see how to search them to see if they are patterns that i might have?

Bounties have each their own prize that one can collect by uploading the pattern that is asked for. The bounty needs to be at least 500 coins, but can be quite a bit more, as the one posting the bounty (the one asking for the pattern) sets the bounty amount.

Please refer to the description of the Bounty Area on how to solve a bounty if you have a pattern that someone has posted a bounty for.

Moderators regularly check to see if bounties are answered, and take care of making sure you get the reward.

You may just scroll through the Bounty Area to see if there are patterns asked for that you have. It is possible to sort by category. If you have a pattern that you would like to share, please do a search to see if it is already on the site. The search will also show bounties.

Dont worry me too ia new here. I got my coins currency in website only said admin, through watch youtube task and get code to get reward. Someone post say it is every sundays
