A Q-Snap is a type of stitching frame.  Its very easy to set up as well as easy to take apart if you need to tighten up your stitching project.  They tend not to warp the fabric like standard hoops.  For my small projects theyre all Ive used for over 10 years.

But I was unaware of the method of tightening them up.  Thanks so much!  Ive gone out and just bought another set as Im always fiddling with them anyway and somehow end up missing pieces,

Ill give this a go. I had an extra layer of fabric wrapped around to take up the slack.

I havent needed to do this yet but I did read about it somewhere that it is a good way to "tighten" the snaps
