I'm so used to yarn over. I haven't tried yarn under yet. But both look nice. So I don't have a preference I think.

Wow! This is fascinating!
I've been crocheting for over 20yrs and never knew of the X sc stitch.
I'll definitely have to try it out on my next ami project.

I'm not sure if I've answered before, but I think X looks pretty. i use the false X. and it is just as fast as v just have to train ur hand and brain to do it, for me, stitches and rows are easier to count, too
