Amigurumi V or X Stitch

I do sell my crochet so I use the v sc all the time simply because its a bit quicker, and time is money? But when I make detailed small amigurumi for myself rather than my business ,I use x to make it just that more neater and cleaner.

I always do yarn under (the 'X') for amigurumi as I like the look but both are great! It's personal preference.

I prefer yarn over (v stitch)! It's what I learned first and I prefer the texture it creates

I can't crochet and I can't understand how people who do can differentiate between American and others patterns and follow the different terms for the same thing.
