Aida, evenweave or Linen, what fabric do you like stitching on the most?

Evenweave - especially if there lots of fractional stitches.

I like a good quality linen and prefer cashel.   Right now Im working on aida cloth and am finding its starting to pill up.   So  it will have to be shaved.  :(  I also like hand dyed fabrics and have quite a few in my stash.......... just not enough time to get to them all!

Aida preferrably, but will do evenweave.  Linen scares the crap out of me too....

I actually like to use them all depending on the project. I dont really have a favorite because I think for me there is always the "best" fabric for my project. :)

Good topic for discussion though, it is always interesting (for me) to see how others feel.:)
