I love the photo of the stand that you've posted. It looks wonderful and I am very envious. I have heard from other people who recommend EZpdf reader, and neu.annote as apps.
One really good use I came across was where the app would find a symbol and highlight it as it appeared across the chart. This looked so useful for stitching confetti areas of HAED. There's always one little symbol hiding away until I've finished the thread. They get me every time. I haven't tried these other apps out yet. I've got to find out if they work on a very much older ipad first.
That sounds like a really good app. I have always highlighted the stitches in different colors, but I've never done a HAED.

That sounds like a really good app. I have always highlighted the stitches in different colors, but I've never done a HAED. Does it only highlight a PDF file, or will it work on a JPG scanned file?
As far as I understand these things, it's impossible to do with a jpg file, because symbols there are not recognized, which means that the program doesn't see them as symbols at all.

It isn't on my ipad (mine's far too old) it's on a friends. I've only ever seen her use it with a pdf file, all she stitches are HAEDs.

This wil lbe really handy for us old 'uns whose eyesight is gradually getting worse and need to enlarge patterns; print them out and stick the pieces together again, sigh!;P
