***Thread Conversions***
If your pattern was initially sold as a kit, you probably have a thread listing that is not recognisable. Dimensions for example have colours like "18514". Most of us would be more familiar with it listed as "DMC 413".
Conversion charts are available under stitch tips and tricks if you click on "colour boards." There are only 2 pages of charts so it is easy to find conversions for all different brands.

Just remember, these are only the recommended nearest match. Mostly they are a good substitute but if it doesnt look right, try another brand. (For example DMC666 Christmas red and DMC 608 bright orange both convert to Anchor 46 - this would look fine if you only need one, but if both are needed then you will get no contrast if you use Anchor)
