In folders using the firms/designers name and into it I made theme folders - toys, autumn, animals e t.c. All files named like that: designers name_scheme name_scheme number.

I do thematically in folders (knit/hat, knit/christmas etc)

But honestly, my favorites are printed and put into a folder.  There arent many in my favorites folder that are printed.  I figure if the SHTF and power was out... I would have the most important (to me).

I just put them all in a drawer box. My drawer has 3 sections. One for fabric, one for threads, and one for wips

I probably have more patterns then I can stitch in a lifetime, but I always organize them in folders. Even if it’s going to take a long time. Do a bit at a time and don’t worry if you don’t finish it in one sitting. Take your time.

I prefer printouts & I dont organize them in any particular way.  I get a digital chart & immediately print it  !
