[Crochet] How to make my seam invisible

When I make hats and such, I always have a join line that you can see. How can I make this not happen? It looks like a diagonal line going down the length of my work. Thank you for your input. :) :)

Use the mattress stitch on everything when sewing. Its an easy stitch and its invisible. Check it out on Goggle.

After doing the slip stitch try to pull the yarn as hard as possible to make the slip stitch very small, that will not make it completely invisible but the line will be less visible

Are you crocheting?  The diagonal line is because you are working in a spiral.  There are fixes just you tube to find the fix for this problem
