you have to comment on other peoples patterns, go into tasks every hour and click there for gold coins. It takes a while to get to the next level, have patience.

The best way to upgrade is to upload patterns - esp ones that people are going to want to buy. I dont have the time or the patience to comment on every single pattern thats uploaded - it would drive me crazy!! It does take a while though - took me over a year to go from level 3 to 4 but I was happy with that - probably another year before I get up to level 5 :D
